- Φῆστος, ου, ὁ (PLond III, 904, 33 p. 126 [104 A.D.]; Josephus index) Porcius Festus, successor to Felix (s. Φῆλιξ) as procurator of Palestine. Neither the beginning nor the end (at his death) of his term of office can be determined with full certainty, though it is gener. assumed that he died in the early 60s.
